Take pictures of different birds using special gadgets(zooming lenses, bird identifier, coffee to boost your reaction). By the way, using gadgets will earn you more points.
In order to get a good picture of a bird, aim with your objective and make sure the whole bird body is captured. Then right click on the bird. Capture several birds for bonus points.
