Speaking about the game genre it is a real estate business simulation that combines elements of sim and tycoon game. But for those who get absorbed and play several levels, it turns out to be an eye-catching challenge.

In Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year, your main tasks are:

1). playing on real estate market (buying and selling lots and houses);

2). constructing, upgrading, demolishing and repairing buildings;

3). increasing your rent rate and earning money from renting the real estate you’ve constructed.

4). increasing the appeal rate of your real estate by painting the buildings (new feature!)

5). voting for the towns you’ve worked in at a Town of the Year Contest.

In Campaign mode, the point is to earn required rent rate, achieve the required appeal rank and build several houses of the required type. Mind that every level is time-limited in this mode. You’ll be playing 2-4 levels in each town.

In Casual mode you’ll have to improve your town and achieve the goals set at no time limitation!

So, here are 10 tips to help you succeed:

1. Try to construct some sort of building on an empty lot. As you understand, one more house will increase your rent rate.

2. Try to construct the most expensive sorts of houses available on the current level. You’ll spend more money on construction once, but it will repay you monthly.

3. To increase the rent value of your house, upgrade it. Each house can be upgraded up to three times. Upgrading a house increases its sales price.

4. To increase appeal rate of a house, paint it. Make sure every house you build is painted.

5. Be quick in repairing damaged houses. If the house is damaged, it doesn’t bring you any rent.

6. Once in a while you’ll receive letters that contain bank checks or useful tips. Be sure to click on envelops that appear on the houses you own.

7. Build the play parks and other sorts of places that increase appeal rate of the neighboring houses between two houses. Thus, you’ll increase the appeal rate of each of the house by 5 points. And, try to keep the buildings like workshops and recycle factories in remote areas of the town.

8. When buying a house, please mind it only makes sense to haggle if two more houses are on sale at the same time. If not, your offer will not be accepted.

9. Construct coffee shop once you have a blueprint for it since it will become the source of regular income for you.

10. Sometimes it’s reasonable to demolish the cheap house you have from the beginning of level and construct something more expensive and posh on its place. Thus, you’ll earn extra rent.

Speaking about this creation of Fugazo, I should say it pretty much resembles Hot Dish and is a cooking simulation.

But this time, you’re going to enroll and study at cooking academy and master all kinds of dishes starting with appetizers and up to substantial dinner meals and desserts. Every time you successfully complete a number of tasks and prepare a number of AAA dishes you will be given a higher rank.

So, cooking process is pretty similar to that of Hot Dish:

1. As a rule, first you’ll have to chop meat or veggies with your mouse by simulating usual moves that you perform with a knife:

Ouch! The vision of me cutting onions makes me cryy-yyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

2. Then, you’ll have to mix the ingredients in particular order following the visual clues on the right.

3. Your next task is to boil something and remove it when it is ready. Make sure you remove the food when the time is ripe(when it becomes light brown). Make sure it’s not overdone or underdone.

4. You will also be asked to stir something by tracing the arrows indicating the direction of your moves.

5. Mashing can seem pretty difficult as well. Be sure to click on the slice of the food when a shadow appears over it. No need to click randomly. Just wait for a shadow to appear on the slice and click on it.

6. When boiling something, you’ll be asked to add more ingredients at the very specific moment - when the ingredient or task crosses the border. Be sure not to make it earlier.

7. Once everything is mixed, stirred, mashed and fried, it’s time to arrange it all on a plate. That’s the most creative part of work.

Good luck to you all. After playing this game for a couple of hours, I changed my idea of cooking. I am gone cooking something exotic and extra delicious, say Chicken Kiev.

So, the more services you offer, the more money you can make. Just like in real business.

2. In order to offer new services to customers, Jane needs to buy them before a level in upgrade shop(they are newspapers to bring to customers, new beach chairs with an umbrella, upgraded coffee or cocktail machine etc).

3. In the same shop Jane can also upgrade her skills or the skills of her personnel by improving their education or buying the improved tools for their work: p.ex., faster vacuum cleaner and better watering-can for a maid, camera for a portier to take pictures of the visitors.

4. To win time, you can chain your actions(especially it is effective for cleaning). When several customers want their room cleaned, click on a vacuum cleaner sign and then click on all these rooms one-by-one.

5. The more customers stay at your hotel on a level, the more income you can make. You can increase the number of customers by buying special upgrades at the shop. Read the information on each upgrade.
