Enigma: Gamer Musings
This game made me feel like visiting an art museum and watching chef d’oeuvres of different epochs and even creating them myself.
Every canvas has its own enigma, and you need to unveal it by carefully studying every little detail on it.
Enigma – a game developed by Territory IT Casual. Its creators succeeded in uniting classical art and gaming in its absorbing hidden object gameplay.
In a nutshell, on every level you’ll have to perform two sorts of tasks:
1. You’ll need to find extra elements on the paintings – elements that do not originally belong to the picture using the list of extra objects. This is a mere I spy element in the game.
2. The second part of the task is to place the required objects of the picture where they belong. This means that while playing the first level, it will be useful for you to “look around” and memorize every original detail of the painting.
The gameplay may seem somewhat monotonous since these are the only tasks you’ll have to accomplish. If it were spiced up with mini-puzzles of different game mechanics, it will add variety to the gameplay.
In case you’re stuck either finding extra objects or trying to place original ones, you can use the magnifying glass. Look over the whole canvas- and the object you’re searching for will be glowing. But be careful – once you put the magnifying glass over a canvas, time will go 5 times faster.
Though I am hardly an I spy pro, this game seemed pretty easy for me. You are given enough time to find everything. Moreover, on hidden object levels, extra objects are easy to spot since they will be the objects of the modern world on the paintings created centuries ago. I guess you’ll easily find a plane on this picture created in the 17th century.
My only advice for the “Place the object” level is to use your memory(if you memorized anything from the previous ispy level with the same picture). If you haven’t, use your logics. If you find a hard time using both (just kidding), you can use the magnifying glass.
Graphics are great. No need to say a lot about that, since the basic part of the graphics for Enigma game was created by geniuses of the past. But the whole graphical settings created by Go Games is eye-pleasing. Your desktop looks very realistic. It’s very nice that you can move the objects on it (like a notepad with a list of extra objects, a pen, and a magnifying glass).
If you love hidden object riddles or are passionate about art – try to solve this Enigma.
