Frankly speaking, I am a bit tired of playing hidden object games, so Lost in Reefs has added variety to my gaming experience. In case you feel nostalgic about such block-busting games as Big Kahuna Reef, this title is worth trying.

Visually, this is a colorful and eye-catching puzzle. So, you’re invited to play undersea. Enoy the view of the reefs, sunrays penetrating into the water and reaching the very bottom. Bright star-fish lying on the golden sand and underwater plants, slow fishies swimming back and forth and a wealth of artefacts that you need to match.
So, speaking of the game genre, Lost in Reefs is a classic match-3 game. You will be playing on three grid types: classic, hexagonal, and mixed. So, you won’t be bored with matching on the same type of grid in several levels.
The point of each level is to match three and more artefacts and thus, remove them from the playing field. The eventual point of each level is to remove all the blue tiles under artefacts. This can be done as you match the objects over the tiles, just like in other games.
However, Lost in Reefs has more to offer than just montonous matching. In fact, as you play level by level, you earn golden coins(the alternative to points), fish and tools. As you earn a fixed number of coins, and fish, you’ll have a chance to buy one of the buildings(market, palace etc) required to create an underwater empire. So, this game blends elements of simulation and matching, just like Cradle of Rome, and Fishdom games.
In case you’re new to matching games, Lost in Reefs will make a good beginning since the game is very intuitive and easy to play. But in case you’ve played a lot and are nostalgic about good old matching games, you won’t regret the time you spent downloading it.
